Kia ora!

I am Tūranga.

Since I was a young boy, I have had a passion for my culture. Specifically our art forms, from Whakairo (carving), raranga (weaving), and moko (tattoos)

That passion drove me to an interest in contemporary Māori artwork and how we could take these forms and patterns seen in our traditional practices and push them into a modern space.
